Guests gently paddle down the Upper Zambezi River above the Victoria Falls – the playground of hippo, shimmering home of crocodiles and the watering hole of buffalo and elephant – drifting though secretive channels and enjoying the ever-so-slight turbulence of the more placid rapids above Kandahar Island. The bird-life and game that has made the banks of the river home can be seen at close range as you paddle yourself down the river. Guests use two men inflatable canoes for this trip as they are afforded approximately 18 kilometres of river frontage , on these trips a bit of adrenaline rush is added as we paddle down class 1 rapids which occasionally cut the river into fast moving water.
